12" boxed commemorative Raggedy Andy doll. This doll is mint in box, and was made by Dakin/Applause to commemorate Raggedy Ann's 85th (and Raggedy Andy's 80th) birthday.

This doll is exactly the same as the 80th Birthday Raggedy Andy doll which was released in 2000. The box is very similar also. The "Applause" brand has replaced the "Dakin" brand. The title has been changed from "80th Birthday Raggedy Andy" to "Commemorative Raggedy Andy". The text has been changed to delete the phrase "Both dolls are issued in a Time Limited Edition, whose production will end forever on December 31, 2000." The Commemorative doll reads: "Eighty years ago, in 1920 ..." Since this doll was released in 2003, it should read "Eighty-three years ago, in 1920 ..."
