My First Raggedy Ann series.

Adapted by Stephanie True Peters from the stories by Johnny Gruelle and illustrated by Reg Sandland

Summary: After taking a special potion, Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy are able to see and talk to all the magic meadow folk around them. Based on stories previously published in Raggedy Ann and the Happy Meadow.

When Raggedy Ann and Andy set off for the Happy Meadow, Grandpa Hoppytoad appears, and it is sure to be a day full of surprises. He lets them take a sip of his magic potion so they can see and hear all the magic folk of the meadow. It's only then that they stumble upon Helen Honeybee frantically buzzing around. It seems someone is calling for help, but she can't see who it is. Raggedy Ann and Andy soon rescue the tiniest little boy they've ever seen, who was trapped inside an acorn by a witch named Snoopy Doodjinipper. It's now up to the Raggedys to find out why and to make sure Snoopy doesn't do it again!

In this magical adventure, readers will relish the whimsy of everyone's favorite rag doll pair. Reg Sandland's colorful and jolly artwork is a perfect match for this curious tale of fairies, fairness, and friendship.
